These bold boots may not have been closing shoes, but they hold a place of deep honor and gratitude. I wore them to the Southside MIBOR Jingle Ball, where I was incredibly humbled to receive the Denver Hutt Rising Star Award—a moment I will never forget. Every time I step into these boots, I’m reminded of Denver’s leadership, integrity, and heart for others, and I’m grateful to carry forward the legacy he left behind.
